Finger mills
A pin mill (disintegrator, pin mill, needle mill, pin mill) is a machine designed for grinding brittle, soft and medium-hard materials.
The working elements of the mill are two discs (movable and stationary) arranged parallel to each other in a vertical plane. Rows of "fingers" are arranged on the surfaces of the discs, which during the mill's operation overlap.
These mills offer a versatile solution for size reduction of a wide range of materials. Since each grinding task requires its own solution, the mills can be equipped with several easily interchangeable grinding elements (rotors). This will optimally meet the individual requirements of each application, now or in the future.
Possibilities include equipping the mills as a pin mill without a screen or a hammer mill with a tamper disk, swing or plate tamper to work with a variety of grinding tracks or sieve rings for:
Fine, medium, coarse and rough grinding, crushing, dispersing and fiberizing of crystalline, brittle, fatty, heat-sensitive, hard and fibrous materials.
