Hegatec BUDDY can be used as a freeze dryer or vacuum dryer.

Freeze-drying is well suited for gentle drying of deep-frozen products. The low temperature dehydration process sublimes the ice crystals directly into a gaseous state without the intermediate appearance of a liquid phase. The products can also be frozen in the drying room before starting the drying process. After drying, the products retain many of their original properties.
