Continuous centrifuge for deoiling chips, model SCPC-C

Efficiency

The performance of this centrifuge for continuous processing small or crushed chips depends on:

• Size and shape of chips/filings
• Oil characteristics (viscosity, temperature)
• Amount of oil to be removed.

After processing the remaining oil content in the chips is typically 3% dry weight.

Principle of operation:

The rotating conical basket is made of wedge wire, in order to obtain filtration of oil from the filings. The base of the basket is made in the form of a hydraulically controlled pressure plate. This plate moves in an "up and down" motion, which causes the last part of the chips fed into the basket to push the previously fed chips up the surface of the wedge wire sieve. The chips are automatically unloaded from the basket after reaching the top and fall by gravity into the outlet chute

Design:

• 3-column suspension.
• Outer casing made of steel, internally protected with high manganese steel to provide resistance to chip abrasion.
• Conical basket made of wedge wire made of stainless steel with a working base as a pressure plate.
